Surrey Carers Support: Invitation to Take Part in Carer Feedback Session

Surrey Carers Support are inviting a small number of adult carers to take part in a short research session to help them better understand how carers use the Surrey County Council website and their online services, including the Adult Social Care portal.

Surrey County Council Play and Leisure Short Breaks Consultation- closes 4th March

Surrey County Council (SCC) has launched a consultation on proposed changes to its Play and Leisure Short Breaks programme, which supports children and young people with additional needs to enjoy inclusive activities- and gives parent carers valuable time to recharge.

Surrey and Borders Partnership Resilient Survey

The Research Study Team at Surrey and Borders Partnership would like to invite you to take part in the Resilient survey. This survey takes 5 to 10 minutes to complete and asks you to share your thoughts and opinions on using health monitoring technology to support individuals with long term health conditions. Examples of health monitoring technologies include smart watches, health apps, and blood pressure sensors.

Equality assessment for NHS 10 Year Plan overlooks loss of independent patient voice

Organisations delivering local Healthwatch have warned that the Government’s Equalities Impact Assessment (EQIA) for the NHS 10 Year Health Plan fails to fully consider the impact of losing independent patient voice and scrutiny, as required under the Public Sector Equality Duty (PSED).
