Enter and View – Priory Court Care Home – January 2023 report

Our Enter and View visits to care homes are one way we can gather information about services and collect views of service users, their carers and relatives, as well as staff. Following our visits we make recommendations to the service provider based on the feedback we have received.

Maximising the learning from complaints

This report looks in depth at the Independent Health Complaints Advocacy service and shares our findings to suggest best practice relating to complaints, including recommendations and suggested opportunities for further learning.

Waiting for hospital care - June 2022

The number of people waiting for hospital appointments or treatment has been growing since 2009, and the pandemic has resulted in many more people having their operations, treatment and appointments cancelled or delayed. In Surrey approximately 100,000 people are currently waiting for hospital treatment and this figure is not expected to start falling until 2024. Healthwatch Surrey ran this research to provide insight that will enable services to support those waiting and minimise the harm of long waits.
