Administration Officer (maternity cover), Healthwatch Surrey CIC

Healthwatch Surrey CIC is an independent community interest company that gives the people of Surrey a voice to improve, shape and get the best from health and social care services. We deliver a range of services and contracts designed to ensure those who use services have an effective voice, including local Healthwatch and Giving Carers a Voice.

We are looking for a proactive, self-motivated administrator with excellent attention to detail. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our friendly and supportive team, providing administrative support to the CEO, COO and the wider Healthwatch Surrey CIC team.

As our Administration Officer you will:

  • Provide administrative support to the CEO, COO and Board, including diary management.
  • Provide Admin support for key meetings; find dates, book rooms, circulate papers and take minutes.
  • Assist the communications team with preparing social media posts and website updates.
  • Assist the engagement team in booking engagement events.
  • Help to update Healthwatch Surrey policies and procedures.
  • Keep our office organised and equipped.
  • Provide general administrative support to the wider Healthwatch Surrey team, including processing expenses, DBS checks and reference checking.
  • Be the first point of contact, answering the phone and message taking when required.

You will need to be experienced in Admin support; self-motivated; organised; excellent at prioritising a busy workload; have good attention to detail and have an interest in contributing to improving health and social care services in Surrey.

The role is a full-time fixed term contract for 9 months to cover a period of maternity leave.
