How do you want to share your feedback about local services? Survey (closes 17 August 2026)

Our colleagues in Sussex are exploring how people across both counties would prefer to share feedback about health and social care services and are keen to hear from you too.
Wording says: Government plans may change how patients and the public can share their health and care experiences...Tell is how you want to share your feedback about local services.

The government has announced plans to abolish Healthwatch in 2027. Healthwatch gathers important feedback from patients and the public about health and social care and is independent from the NHS and local councils who provide these services.

These plans may change how patients and the public can share feedback and experiences. In the future, it may mean you would only be able to share your feedback with health and social services themselves, or the organisations who run them.

Have your say

This 5 minute survey is an opportunity to have your say on how you would like to be able to share your experiences of local health and care services. It does not matter if you have not heard of Healthwatch.

The survey gives you the opportunity to say:

  • Who you would like to share feedback on health and care with?
  • How you would like to be able to give feedback in the future?
  • What is important to you in how your feedback is gathered and used?

Your views will be shared with those responsible for deciding the future model of gathering and using patient feedback.

The survey closes at 11.59pm on Monday 17 August 2026.
