Experts by Lived Experience– Opportunity to Help Shape New E-Learning- closes 6th April
South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) is developing a new E-learning package in line with the Oliver McGowan Learning Disabilities and Autism Code of Practice. This package aims to give their staff a better understanding of the needs and experiences of people living with Learning Disabilities and Autism, so they can provide person-centred care every time.
SECAmb is looking for people who live with, or care for someone with, a Learning Disability or Autism to get involved by:
- Taking part in filmed interviews
- Contributing to the planning of the E-learning package
- Reviewing the final content
Even if you do not want to appear on film, there are still opportunities to have your voice heard and shape the learning.
The project needs to be completed for the new financial year (from 6th April 2026). If you are interested in taking part or would like to find out more, please contact engagementteam@secamb.nhs.uk for a friendly, no-pressure conversation.
