The Patients Association Survey: The Regulation of AI in Healthcare

The Patients Association is looking to gather patient perspectives on AI regulation. These perspectives will support them in forming their response to the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency’s (MHRA) call for evidence on the regulation of AI in healthcare.

AI is mentioned frequently throughout the 10 Year Health Plan, and is set to play a major role in the way that healthcare is designed and delivered. It is therefore crucial that patients' voices are heard in shaping how this technology is regulated and implemented. 

The Patients Association have developed a survey to capture the views, concerns, and priorities of patients and the public regarding AI. The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete and will remain open until Friday, 23rd January.

The insights gathered will directly inform The Patients Association's submission to the MHRA and help ensure that patient safety, equity, and trust remain at the heart of AI regulation in healthcare.
