Understanding the response to industrial action in the NHS, closing date 9th May 2023
In recent months strikes have been staged by different sectors of the healthcare workforce, the most recent being by Junior Doctors, between the 11th and 15th April, immediately after the 4-day Easter Bank Holiday weekend. Although health care services prepared for this industrial action so that the impact on patients was minimised, there was still considerable disruption, including a large number of cancelled and postponed appointments.
So that they can prepare for any possible future strikes, and provide the most helpful information to local people, NHS Frimley want to know what information you were aware of ahead of the action. They are also interested to know if the strike activity had any impact on your own interactions with the NHS between 11-15th April.
