Transport in Surrey is changing

20th June 2019

We know transport impacts everybody’s lives and the ability to connect with services, friends and family and we recognise that there are some considerable challenges with Surrey’s existing transport network.

North West Surrey Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) wants everybody in Surrey to be able to contribute to what the future Surrey transport system looks like. In the community 2030 vision they promised to make journeys across the county easier, more predictable and safer and make sure Surrey has well connected communities.

This is a unique opportunity for them to think differently about future transport in Surrey, learn from your experiences and include your ideas in the design. They want transport in Surrey to be environmentally sustainable and make use of new technologies and digital innovation. They are talking to several different interest groups and want to make sure that patient passenger voices and ideas are included.

Transport focus group for patient passengers
On Thursday 20th June between 3-5pm, they are holding a focus group based on the experiences of Surrey’s patient passengers. They will be asking you to contribute your thoughts and feedback about what works well, challenges you have encountered, and your ideas for how you connect with health services in the future.

The session will be held in the boardroom at NHS Guildford and Waverley CCG, 3rd Floor, Dominion House, Woodbridge Road, Guildford GU1 4PU. All participants will be reimbursed for their travel expenses and refreshments provided. They have already received a lot of interest in this project, so please let them know if you would like to participate.

Questionnaire
If you are unable to attend in person but would still like to have your voice heard, you can complete a short questionnaire by clicking here. The survey closes on the 29th June. This is an exploratory questionnaire, not a public consultation.
