Surrey is taking part in the national SEND survey. The Personal Outcomes Evaluation Tool (POET) has been developed by the charity In Control with Lancaster University and is supported by the Department for Education. It will help make the improvements needed after the Ofsted and Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection.
The Personal Outcomes Evaluation Tool (POET) – provides a national benchmark of the impact Education Health and Care Plans and personal budgets have on the lives of children, young people and families. Surrey took part in the last school year 2015/16 and are participating again this term for the school year 2016/17. You may have taken part in the survey when it was previously published in the autumn term 2015. We’d now like to see where we are compared to that time, what has improved and what do we still need to improve. Your participation will help make the right improvements for children and young people in Surrey.
