Help shape Surrey’s next mental health hospital

19th May 2016

In 2009 Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (SABP) agreed to develop three new mental health hospitals for people living in Surrey and north east Hampshire.

The first of these hospitals has been recently completed. See Farnham Road Hospital in Guildford. SABP are now considering whether two hospitals will meet local needs.

Surrey and Borders Partnership are at the start of the process to develop plans for a second hospital and would like to hear from local people to shape our plans for mental health services in Surrey and north east Hampshire.

The Trust are hosting three public, co-design workshops. At these events Surrey stakeholders and members of the public will be able to share their views which will then be used to shape what will be included in the public consultation over the summer.
