The Priorities Process helps us make decisions about what issues/topics Healthwatch Surrey should be focusing on.
The aim of this process is to ensure that our priorities and projects are representative of the wishes and needs of Surrey's communities rather than dictated by the loudest voice.
All Priority proposals are assessed quarterly by the Priorities Recommendation Group, which is made up of Healthwatch Volunteers from across the county. Each individual scores each application against set criteria and these are collated to ensure the decisions made are objective. These recommendations are submitted to the Healthwatch Surrey Board for debate and agreement. The board can also remove a priority when it is agreed that enough action has been taken.
If you would like to submit a Priority proposal (500 words max), you will find evidence and examples to help you below. Please email your proposal or mail it to the address on the right.
The process is outlined in more detail in the documents below.
Please note that the next deadline for submissions is Wednesday 2nd December.
